MANILA, Philippines: Jirah Floravie Cutiyog, a grade 9 student from Bethel Academy of General Trias City, prevailed over older male opponents and reigned supreme in the 1st Kagawad Wilson Fauni Rapid Invitational Chess Tournament held at the Imus National High School Covered Court Bucandala 3, Imus City, Cavite on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
The 15-year-old Cutiyog scored a perfect 6.0 points to finish at solo first place in the tournament.
