SM Group continues supporting farmers

SM Investments Corp. (SMIC) has renewed its commitment to support the agriculture sector and improve the country's food security through a farm-to-store program aimed at boosting the livelihoods of local farmers.

The Sy-led group said Friday that through the 'Palengke Fresh' initiative of its food retail affiliate, WalterMart, farmers would be provided market access to bring their produce closer to consumers.
