Pro-IS soldiers attack MILF camp

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Pro-Islamic State (IS) fighters attacked a stronghold of former rebel group Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in the restive southern province of Maguindanao del Sur in the Muslim autonomous region.

At least two people were hurt in the evening assault by members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) on the MILF stronghold under the 118th Base Command headed by Commander Badrudin in the village of Pimbalkan in Mamasapano town on Wednesday.
