LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: A provincial health official on Thursday, April 4, warned residents against heat-related illnesses as the heat index continued to rise in the province.
Dr. Anna Maria Teresa de Guzman, provincial health officer, said that direct exposure to sunlight for a long time could cause heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
