The Department of Education (DepEd) acknowledges AboitizPower’s Thermal Business Group as among the country’s partners in advancing the education of young Filipinos. In 2023, the company funded 10 education projects that were implemented in Luzon through Therma Luzon and Therma Mobile; Visayas through Therma Power Visayas and Therma Visayas; and Mindanao through Therma Marine and Therma South. This year, AboitizPower allocated P6.2 million to support 14 programs, including providing scholarships to 80 high school students.
