Metro Retail opens Laguna facility

SUPERMARKET operator Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) has opened a three-hectare distribution center in Santa Rosa, Laguna, in line with its ambitious growth plans in Luzon over the next five years.

In a filing on Thursday, the Gaisano-led company said the new facility was expected to strengthen its supply chain and improve its services in its existing store network.
