AT least 53 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Taiwan were promoted to mid-level positions and given the chance to reside permanently in Taiwan with their families as a reward for their diligence and hard work, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) said.
MECO Chairman Silvestre Bello 3rd said on Sunday more Taiwanese companies were rewarding Filipino workers in recognition of their dedication and good work habits.
