THE House of Representatives Committee on Rural Development has created a technical working group to consult with private and public stakeholders on the proposed Rural Financial Inclusion and Literacy Act.

House Bill 1929, filed by Ang Probinsyano Party-list Rep. Alfred de los Santos in July last year, aims to bring financial literacy to rural areas through equitable access to digital technology.
