(UPDATE) THE Philippines urged the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to exercise its jurisdiction and call out countries which neglect their obligations -- under international law -- in addressing climate change.
The Philippines made the call in response to the request of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) for an advisory opinion on the question of the "obligations of States in respect of climate change."
