DAGUPAN CITY: Pangasinan 4th District Rep. Christopher de Venecia on Saturday, March 23, thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for providing enhanced support to the creative industries and recognizing their potential as key drivers of growth and employment in the country.
De Venecia issued the statement after the Philippine Statistics Authority released data indicating that the local creative economy grew by 6.9 percent in 2023, creating more jobs and making a bigger contribution to the Philippine gross domestic product (GDP).
