(UPDATE) A PHILIPPINE vessel carrying supplies for Filipino troops at the Ayungin Shoal was hit by water cannons from two China Coast Guard (CCG) ships, sustaining "heavy damage," the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Saturday.
