No penalty for TikTok teacher berating pupils

THE teacher shown in a viral TikTok video castigating her students would not be penalized, said Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte.

'My first reaction was that the teacher is only human; we get to the point that we get angry when we get frustrated... I saw her explanation and I told the regional office that there would be no penalties for the teacher,' Duterte told reporters on the sidelines of her visit to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
