THE Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is preparing for the influx of over a million passengers during Holy Week, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said on Thursday.

MIAA General Manager Eric Ines said a 15 percent increase in passenger volume was expected from March 24 to March 31, significantly higher than the 926,755 travelers that passed through the NAIA from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday last year.
