Balisacan takes 'longest ride of his life' on way to signing event

MANILA, Philippines: National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan said he experienced the 'longest ride of his life' when he got stuck in an elevator for nearly two hours on his way to a signing ceremony on Thursday.

'I was trapped in an elevator for one hour and 40 miniutes but it was competently managed,' Balisacan said during his speech at the signing of the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Code.
