MANILA, Philippines: A host of the Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) said that Filipinos will lose in the passage on third reading of the measure revoking the franchise of the controversial broadcast network.
The House of Representatives passed on third reading House Bill 9710 that revokes the franchise of Swara Sug Media Corporation, the legal name of SMNI, by a vote of 284 votes in favor, four votes against, and four abstentions.
