WUNDERKIND Ruelle Canino continued her giant-slaying ways after she slew Woman International Master (WIM) Bernadette Galas in seizing a share of the lead after two rounds of the Philippine National Chess Championships dubbed "The Battle of Women's Masters" Monday at the City Hall of Malolos, Bulacan.
It was a fitting follow-up to the 15-year-old Cagayan de Oro City-born lass' earthshaking opening-round triumph over defending champion WIM Marie Antoinette San Diego the day before that kept the former well perched at the helm.
