NHCP mounts exhibit on women behind Diosdado Macapagal

THE National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) Museo at Aklatan ni Diosdado Macapagal will conduct a special exhibit titled 'Women Behind the Success of Diosdado Macapagal' on March 21, 2024.

The exhibit focuses on the significant roles and influence of women in President Diosdado Macapagal's life. His grandmother, Escolastica Romero, a midwife and pious woman and his mother, Romana Pangan, a housewife and share-tenant's daughter, as their teachings formed a lasting impression on Macapagal.
