Bill bans privatization of water services

THE Makabayan bloc in the House of Representatives on Thursday filed a bill that seeks to prohibit the privatization of public water services.

The three-member group filed House Bill 10150 which prohibits government officials and entities from privatizing 'public water systems, treatment and distribution facilities.'
