(UPDATE) THE Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of former Batangas representative Ralph Recto as Finance secretary.
Recto, regarded by his former colleagues in the Senate as their "resident economist," replaced Benjamin Diokno.
