MANILA, Philippines: The UST Golden Tigresses moved on the cusp of a UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball first round sweep after blanking the UP Fighting Maroons, 25-22, 25-20, 26-24, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday, March 13.
Angge Poyos dropped 22 points, seven excellent digs, and seven receptions to lead UST which matched its best start since Season 73 back in 2011 when it also posted a 6-0 start.
