TWO female lawmakers will represent the Philippines in a United Nations session on the Commission on the Status of Women from March 14-22 at the UN Headquarters in New York.

Laguna 1st District Rep. Maria Rene Ann Lourdes Matibag said that she and Bataan 1st District Rep. Geraldine Roman are "honored" to represent the country in the United Nations conference, noting that Filipino women have the "the guts, courage, will power and leadership to make everything better."
