House okays bill seeking to revoke SMNI franchise on 2nd reading

MANILA, Philippines: The House of Representatives approved on second reading a bill seeking to revoke the legislative franchise of Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) due to 'multiple franchise violations.'

House Bill 9710 was passed through a voice vote during the House's plenary session on Wednesday.
