'China's proposals unconstitutional'

(UPDATE) SOME of Beijing's proposals to address the maritime dispute with Manila are contrary to the country's interests and would violate the Philippine Constitution and international law, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Tuesday.

The DFA issued this statement in response to The Manila Times' headline story on March 11 titled 'Chinese Official: PH ignored China's proposals on sea row,' which quoted a high-ranking embassy source who spoke on condition of anonymity.
