BERLIN: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday said the Philippines eyed expanded defense cooperation with Germany that went "beyond training" and included "cyber and maritime domains" amid mounting tensions in the South China Sea.
Marcos, who is on a three-day working visit to Berlin, met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at The Chancellery to further explore the bilateral relations between the Philippines and Germany.
