Germany vows to defend PH rights in South China Sea

BERLIN: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Tuesday reaffirmed Germany's commitment to the Philippines in defending its sovereign rights in the South China Sea.

At a joint press conference with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Scholz reiterated Germany's support for international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
