IM Concio rules rapid chess tournament in Marinduque

International Master (IM) Michael Concio Jr. of Dasmariñas City topped the 1st Marinduque National Chess Championship that ended on Sunday, March 10, at the Marinduque Convention Center in Boac, Marinduque.

The 18-year-old Concio tallied 6.5 points in seven rounds to rule the Open division and pocket the P50,000 top purse.
