(UPDATE) THE unemployment rate rose in January from a month earlier, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Friday.
The jobless rate moved up to 4.5 percent in January from 3.1 percent in December, although it is lower than the 4.8 percent in the same month of last year.
