THE northeast monsoon or "amihan" is slowly getting stronger and is affecting more Luzon areas where cold nights and mornings can be experienced, the state-run weather agency said on Friday.
In particular, Batanes and Cagayan would likely have overcast skies with light rains due to amihan, weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
