Magnitude 5 rocks Davao Oriental – Phivolcs

MANILA, Philippines: A magnitude 5.0 earthquake took place in Davao Oriental early Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Phivolcs Director Teresito 'Toto' Bacolcol said the tremor happened around 4:19 a.m. some 70 kilometers northeast of the town of Banganga.
