'Amihan' re-emerges, affects Northern Luzon – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines: The northeast monsoon, locally known as 'amihan,' resurfaced and is affecting extreme Northern Luzon, the state-run weather agency said on Thursday.

It may continue to affect wider areas in the coming days before disappearing 'probably' in the middle of March, weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
