EDUCATOR Marian Patricia Bea Francisco, PhD, the first Filipino editorial board member of the "American Annals of the Deaf," has been reappointed and continues her mission to champion the importance of research in improving the quality of life of the deaf community.
The "American Annals of the Deaf" was first published in 1847 by the Gallaudet University in Washington D.C.. It is the oldest and most widely read English-language journal dedicated to the deaf and hard-of-hearing children and adults.
