PNP warns vacationers against travel scams

MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday warned the public against falling victim to 'vacation scam' as people prepare for out-of-town trips to various tourist destinations across the country this summer break.

Col. Jean Fajardo, PNP Public Affairs chief, issued the warning fearing that unscrupulous agents might offer dubious travel packages during the dry season vacation.
