MANILA, Philippines: A lawmaker from a party-list representing senior citizens in the country has urged her fellow seniors, especially those nearing the age where the newly signed revision of the centenarian's law will directly benefit them, to register at their nearest Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) for them to be able to receive such benefits.
United Senior Citizens Party-list Rep. Milagros Magsaysay said that the revision of the Centenarians Act or Republic Act 11982 will directly benefit those who are ages 80, 85, 90 and 95 as they will be receiving P10,000 once they hit these age targets, aside from those entering age 100 receiving P100,000.
