Eala exacts revenge on Bondár in Slovakia

MANILA, Philippines: Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala won her first women's singles match after her rise in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings earlier this week.

During the Round of 32 of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) W50 tournament at the TC Empire tennis complex in Trnava, Slovakia on Wednesday, the 18-year-old defeated and upset second-seeded Anna Bondár of Hungary in two sets, 6-3, 6-1.
