Eala enters doubles QF in Slovakia

(UPDATE) FILIPINA tennis ace Alex Eala starts off her International Tennis Federation W50 tournament in Trnava, Slovakia, with a win in the women's doubles.

At Tuesday's Round of 16 (Wednesday in Manila), Eala and Turkish partner Zeynep Sönmez defeated the 4th seeded pair of Taiwan's Liang En-shuo and China's Tang Qianhui in two sets, 6-2, 6-4.
