Oftana saves the day as TNT nips ROS in PH Cup

MANILA, Philippines: Gilas mainstay Calvin Oftana knocked down two key baskets late in the game to propel TNT to a nail biting 108-107 win against Rain or Shine in the opening night of the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup Wednesday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Oftana buried the go-ahead three-pointer, before adding a two-point basket inside the final two minutes to reward comebacking Chot Reyes a triumphant return to the TNT head coaching post.
