PASTOR Apollo Quiboloy, known as the founder of his own church, the Davao-based "Kingdom of Jesus Christ" (KJC), who calls himself the "appointed son of God," has been accused of sexually molesting some members of his flock. These are criminal offenses. The proper venue for these accusations is, and should be, a court of law, not anywhere else.

But he has been summoned to appear before the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality to defend himself.
