Climate partnership with GGGI hailed

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said that the commitment of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) to help the Philippines strengthen its climate resilience efforts was a welcome development.

'We welcome any assistance or any advice on the subject [of climate change]. I'm certain that after you meet with the Senate President and you speak with the senators, the ratification of the agreement will follow very quickly,' Marcos said during the courtesy visit of former United Nations secretary general Ban Ki-Moon to Malacañang on Monday.
