SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union: The National Tobacco Administration (NTA) has rolled out the distribution of production assistance to at least 2,078 tobacco farmers in the province.
During an episode of the "Oras ni Mannalon ti Tabako" over DZAG Radyo Pilipinas-Agoo, Tobacco Production Regulation officers Ambrosio Nisperos and Ruby Dacanay said that 830 farmers beneficiaries are under the Tobacco Contract Growing System (TCGS) while 1,248 are non-TCGS.
