Chinese warships, chopper seen in Scarborough Shoal – PCG

MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) confirmed on Tuesday the presence of Chinese warships in the vicinity of Bajo de Masinloc (Scarborough Shoal).

Commodore Jay Tarriela, PCG spokesman for the West Philippine Sea, said during the last mission of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) they were able to monitor the presence of three People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy warships in the vicinity of Bajo de Masinloc.
