Pagcor shifting to purely regulatory function

THE Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) sees a complete detachment from its casino operations and a shift to a purely regulatory function role within five years, its top official said on Friday.

Pagcor Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alejandro Tengco said that the organization's objective is to transform into a solely regulatory entity focused on overseeing expansion and attracting additional investments in the gaming sector.
