Bobi, once recognized as the world's oldest dog, lost its title after Guinness World Records found insufficient evidence of his age. Guinness used microchip data from the Portuguese pet database 'SIAC.' However, when Bobi was chipped in 2002, proof of age wasn't required for dogs born before 2008, says Guinness adjudicator Mark McKinley.
