MANILA, Philippines: The northeast monsoon or "amihan," which is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), may re-enter the country, bringing with it cold nights and mornings that may last until the end of March, the state-run weather bureau said on Friday.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that with the re-emergence of amihan, there is a "slim chance" that a tropical cyclone may enter the PAR until the end of February.
