Eala, partner advance to round of 8 in women's doubles

Alex Eala of the Philippines and partner Ali Collins of Great Britain scored their first win in the women's doubles event of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) W75 tournament in Porto, Portugal on Thursday.

Eala and Collins defeated the pair of Anca Alexia Todoni of Romania and Vasanti Shinde of India in three sets, 7-6, 4-6, 11-9, to advance in the round of 8.
