Forest fire rages in Caraballo mountains

(UPDATE) NATIVIDAD, Pangasinan: A forest fire raged on Tuesday night, February 20, in the Caraballo mountains, brightening the dark skies of this eastern Pangasinan town.

The fire was seen in a mountain near a pilgrimage site here, which features a 12.19-meter statue of Christ the Redeemer called 'Ayat ni Apo Jesus' (God's love) and the town's Sky Plaza park.
