In a Facebook post, the Finance chief said he met with the UK Prime Minister Trade Envoy to the Philippines Richard Graham and Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils to discuss how they would deploy the UK Export Finance, which is about P287 billion worth of development financing for the country.
Recto emphasized the potential sectors that the collaboration would tap, including education, infrastructure, water, renewable energy and defense. He also urged the UK officials to support the country's digitalization efforts and invest in big-ticket infrastructure projects.
