MANILA,Philippines: The easterlies – winds coming from the east, passing through the Pacific Ocean and carrying warm and humid weather – are expected to bring generally fair weather in most parts of the country within the next 24 hours, the state-run weather agency said on Tuesday.
The same weather system is affecting Caraga and Southern Leyte where overcast skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected, weather specialist Robert Badrina of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
