Expect 'more' maritime drills with US, allies in WPS, says PH military official

MANILA, Philippines: Expect 'more' maritime cooperative activities (MCAs) 'in the future' with the United States and other like-minded nations in keeping a peaceful and secured Indo-Pacific region,' an official of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said on Tuesday.

Col. Xerxes Trinidad, AFP Public Affairs head, said the US participation in Tuesday's exercise is a 'significant display of cohesive alliance among allies thus resembling for like-minded partners to take part in.'
