Manila, Philippines: The country will continue to enjoy cold nights as the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will likely last until next month, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.

As the easterlies continue to affect the entire archipelago, Pagasa said the northeast monsoon which weakened in the past days may resurface and will likely last until the second week of March.
