If I had one guilty pleasure, it would be books and not just a few cute ones every once in a while, but a whole lot of them. Now don't get me wrong or think I'm some intellectual who reads deep, philosophical books, I mean I do but only when I have the emotional capacity for it. The books I read can be described as treats. Books to snuggle with on early mornings and late nights, books that leave you hopeful and recharged.

The year 2024 is off to both a good and emotionally charged start. And when things are emotionally charged, I turn to my best friends aka my comfort books and figured that some book recommendations can help one or two people get through their 2024.
